ABOUT · PARADISE HILLS
A gym that feels like a second home.
House of Boxing sits on Reo Drive in Paradise Hills. It is the kind of gym where members call it a second home, kids train after school, and a fight team shares the floor with first-timers.
THE STORY
No website. Just a room.
There has never been a website for this gym until now. What there has been is a room, a ring, heavy bags, coaches who know their craft, and a group of members who keep coming back.
The gym is also the home of caneloteam by Eddy Reinoso. Eddy is Canelo Álvarez's head trainer, and his team trains out of this building. That is a fact about the address, not a promise about who you will see on any given afternoon.
What members talk about most is the atmosphere: familia, a second home, good people, and coaches who are friendly and knowledgeable. Kids train here too — up to five days a week — and gear is available at the gym.
It is a boxing gym first. The work is real, the standards are real, and beginners are welcome to start at the beginning.
“Better and cheaper than therapy.” — a line members keep using.

THE ROOM
Ring. Bags. Floor.
The gym has a ring, heavy bags and floor space for movement and partner work. It is a working boxing gym, not a showroom.
Gear is available at the gym, so you do not need a full kit before your first visit. Call ahead to confirm what is on hand in your size.
The room is loud in the way a boxing gym is loud: bags, wraps, coaches calling rounds. Come watch a session and you will know quickly whether it fits you.

FIRST VISIT
What to expect.
The first visit is the hardest one. Here is how to make it simple.
- 01
Call or text (619) 399-5898 before you come. Tell the coach you are new and ask which session to join.
- 02
Wear shorts or comfortable training clothes, a t-shirt and trainers. Bring water. If you have gloves and wraps, bring them; if not, ask what is available.
- 03
Arrive early enough to watch the end of the previous session and meet the coach. Ask where to put your things and what the class will cover.
- 04
Do the warm-up, listen to the technique, and take the corrections. Nobody expects you to be good on day one.
COME SEE IT
Walk in and watch a round.
The phone is the fastest way to reach the gym. Call or text, ask your questions, and come by during open hours.
